Electrolux laundry machine service, done by people who know Compass Pro inside out
WN, WS, WH and TD6 series machines make up a large share of what we service every week in Malaysian laundromats. Preventive maintenance, repairs and genuine parts — not equipment sales.
Common Electrolux laundry machine models used in Malaysia
Most Malaysian laundromats run Electrolux equipment from the Compass Pro washer-extractor range and the TD6 tumble dryer range. The models we come across most often are the WN6-14, WN6-28, WS6-14 and WS6-28 washers, paired with the TD6-17S or TD6-30 dryer.
Electrolux also makes smaller and larger alternatives in the same families, with the models on this page sitting in the capacity range most self-service laundromats in Malaysia are actually built around.
WN6-9
9kg hard-mount, lower volume
WH6-11
11kg, lower volume
WH6-27
27kg, higher throughput
TD6-7
7kg dryer, smaller sites
TD6-20
20kg dryer, mid-volume
Why laundromat owners choose these Electrolux models
Matches self-service demand
14kg and 28kg capacities cover everyday loads and bulky items like duvets or commercial linen without needing a separate machine tier.
Lower cost per load
Higher extraction force on hard-mount (WN) models leaves less water in the wash, shortening drying time and cutting energy use.
Flexible placement
Soft-mount WS models allow 14kg–28kg washers to be installed in shoplots or upper floors that can't support hard-mount vibration.
Compliance built in
Global Advanced Hygiene programs meet disinfection standards, useful for laundromats also serving hotels, clinics, or F&B linen.
Remote visibility
Compass Pro and OnE Laundry connectivity let owners check machine status and usage without being on-site.
Electrolux washer models and what they can handle
Electrolux WN6-14
A 14kg hard-mount washer-extractor with high extraction force, spinning clothes drier before they reach the dryer. Compass Pro controls keep it straightforward for walk-in customers and staff alike.
Electrolux WN6-28
The same hard-mount platform scaled up to 28kg per load, with an 18kW heating element and Global Advanced Hygiene programs for bulky items like duvets, curtains and commercial linen.
Electrolux WS6-14
The same 14kg capacity as the WN6-14, on a soft-mount frame with gentler extraction — a common choice where the building can't handle hard-mount vibration.
Electrolux WS6-28
Delivers 28kg capacity on the same low-vibration, soft-mount platform as the WS6-14 — used where higher volume is needed but a hard-mount unit isn't an option.
Electrolux dryer models and what they can handle
Electrolux TD6-17S
Dries up to 16.7kg per load in as little as 21 minutes on gas heating, with electric options up to 18kW. The front-access lint filter drawer makes daily cleaning fast for back-to-back loads.
Electrolux TD6-30
Dries up to 30.5kg per load with a reversing drum that reduces wrinkling. The optional Moisture Balance sensor stops the cycle once clothes are dry, avoiding wasted gas or electricity.

Electrolux laundry machine FAQs
How often should an Electrolux commercial washer or dryer be serviced?
For a laundromat running 12–16 hours a day, most Electrolux machines should get a preventive maintenance check every 1–3 months, not just a repair call when something breaks. High-wear parts like door seals, bearings, drive belts and heating elements are cheaper to catch early than to replace after a breakdown.
Can Laundry Sifu service an Electrolux machine we didn't buy through you?
Yes. We service and maintain Electrolux laundry machines regardless of where they were purchased or installed. As an authorized Electrolux service partner, our technicians work on the full Compass Pro range, including the WN, WS, WH and TD6 series.
What's the difference between maintaining a hard-mount (WN) and soft-mount (WS) washer?
Both use the same Compass Pro control system, so the electronics and program checks are similar. The mechanical side differs — hard-mount WN models take more direct shock through the frame at high extraction speeds, so we pay closer attention to bolts, foundation and bearing wear. Soft-mount WS models rely more on their suspension system, which we inspect for wear that can otherwise go unnoticed.
What are early warning signs an Electrolux machine needs repair?
Common signs include unusual vibration or noise during the spin cycle, longer-than-normal cycle times, water not draining fully, error codes on the Compass Pro display, and dryers taking noticeably longer to dry the same load size. Catching these early usually means a smaller repair instead of a full breakdown mid-service.
Do you use genuine Electrolux parts for repairs?
Yes. As an authorized Electrolux partner, we have access to genuine Electrolux parts and manufacturer documentation, which helps keep machines running to spec and avoids the reliability issues that can come with generic replacement parts.
What's included in the 10-point laundromat health check?
The check covers washer and dryer condition, water system, drainage, electrical, gas, exhaust, payment system, safety and overall preventive maintenance needs. It's the same checklist we run during a standard visit, so you get a clear picture of your laundromat's condition, not just the machine that happens to be having problems.
